I am part Marilyn Monroe, part Gilda Radnor, part GAP (goyim American princess). I am also part Gandhi, part Starhawk, part mountain lioness. Okay you figure it out - let's just say I am one eclectic babe with heart and brain.

Okay, I'll provide more clues…I am dedicated to inspiring my fellow travelers that life is precious and we are responsible to live in a manner that reflects that understanding. In deed, I have left in my wake a wee bit of transformed landscapes - shepherding a community of townhome owners to add gardens to feed the human spirit but of more importance even, the bumble bees, butterflies and birds. Another example is a van escort service I envisioned and stewarded into existence at my alma mater for coeds needing to traverse an urban campus. A few years back, I ensured that the city of Boulder relocated a colony of prairie dogs rather than exterminate them by making sure its offices were deluged with calls - it was and they were safely relocated:o). Most recently, I planted the seed of activism in the hearts of some Dutch women, who are now working diligently to bring greater awareness about the dangers of GMO crops to their society. 

I share this to affirm that taking action in ones local reality, wherever and whenever, is the meaningful contribution we each can make to be the change we wish to see. That is my philosophy and thus far, the past twenty years of my adult life have reinforced the viability and wisdom of that notion. Since I see that the current community of Zaadz is passionate about important issues, I say go for it, be local, help your communities transform by sharing from love and compassion. Be the change you want.

And the best part is it is fun and pleasurable to take the seed of a idea and see it through to its flowering!
